Personal Daily Plan (PDP)
Goal: Pick the 3 most important things today and finish them.
The Personal Daily Plan is a one-pass loop you can run before lunch. It forces you to (1) name a goal, (2) lock in 3 priority tasks, (3) time-box each, (4) execute, and (5) score the loop 1-5 with a one-line note. Repeat tomorrow with the lessons from yesterday.
The tasks
- 1. Define the single outcome for today est. 5m
One sentence. If you cannot finish it, your day failed.
- 2. Pick the 3 highest-leverage tasks est. 10m
If you only got one thing done, which 3 would have mattered most?
- 3. Time-box each task with a hard stop est. 90m
Use a timer. Stop when it rings, even if unfinished.
- 4. Score the loop 1-5 and write one lesson est. 5m
1 = wasted day, 5 = best day this month. One sentence on what to change tomorrow.
